Visit with Grandma and Grandpa and Bowling with the Andrias

We had a lovely visit with Grandma and Grandpa today and enjoyed the gorgeous 75 degree weather. We took a big hike all the way up to the new "strip."

Then we had a bowling adventure with Kim, Jason, Alivia and Zoey. Paul and Alivia were wild throwing the ball down the lane. It was just so hard to wait when it wasn't their turn! Joy and Zoey were very cute crawling around; Joy kept trying to race down a lane before I could catch her.

Broccoli Sprouts

Paul may not eat broccoli unless I trick him, but he does eat broccoli sprouts with ketchup!

Nose Troubles

As we were watching tv a couple nights ago, Paul started freaking out shouting, "I have a raisin up my nose!" I was sure we were headed to the emergency room. After I tried to calm him (and myself) for a moment, I headed out to the kitchen for a tissue. Before I got there he said, "I got it out." I went back into the living room and asked him, "Where is it?" "In my mouth," he replied. Gross, yes, but thank goodness it didn't involve a trip to the hospital!

New PJs

Laura brought us a whole bunch more hand-me-downs to MOPs today. There were a couple pairs of Scooby Doo pjs. Paul loved them so much he would not take them off!

Mud!

These beautiful days have been so wonderful! I let Joy enjoy the mud the other day.

Beautiful Day Outside

It was 70 degrees outside today! We had a wonderful time. I took the kids in the double stroller for a walk, then when we got back all four of us took a hike. We went up to explore the new property we will be acquiring along the highway. It was surprisingly nice (although noisy.) I couldn't believe that in all these years I'd never been up that way. It was a little too much walking for Paul, Shawn had to carry him a good bit of the way.
Joy had a wonderful time exploring the swing set. She also liked eating the mulch and the pine cones, no matter how vigilant I thought I was in preventing her.
Since I attended the Gardening Seminar and learned all about the weeds in our yard, we've been having a blast identifying them. We say that the cuckoo flowers are shouting out at us "Cuckoo Flowers" when we walk through them. Paul was laying in the cuckoo flowers and listening to them.

Visit with Grandma and Pappy

Paul had a great sleepover with Grandma and Pappy this weekend. They finally made the gingerbread house and it was very impressive! They also decorated for Easter and did lots of other fun things. Joy was happy to be playing outside.
