Trick-Or-Treating

Trick-or-treating went well. Paul did nap for two good hours after his party. At first, he was terrified of Kaitlyn's scary werewolf costume. He was ok after a while though and was a great champion walking and walking and walking with the older kids.

After trick-or-treat, he had fun playing with Tug's toys while the kids sorted their candy. Shawn, Uncle Kevin, Kaitlyn and Tugs were playing a motorcycle game on the Playstation and Paul was quite fascinated; he talked about it the whole way home.

Paul decided he wanted his first piggy-back ride from Daddy, but that didn't work too well. He needs to grow longer arms and legs first!

Paul's Second Birthday Party: Playing with Pappy

Paul had fun playing drive through window with Pappy.

Paul's Second Birthday Party: Presents

Paul received many, many great gifts from all his wonderful friends and family.

Paul's Second Birthday Party: Dinner and Cake

What a cute picture of David, Abby and Ben Rairigh eating dinner! Paul was very excited for everyone to sing and to blow his candle out. He wanted to steal the little pumpkins off the cake. And finally, cake and ice cream!!

Paul's Second Birthday Party: Balloons

The kids had fun batting the balloons around.

Paul's Second Birthday Party: Pinata

The kids had fun with the pinata, but we definitely learned some lessons. 1. Make sure all kids are out of the way when someone is swinging. 2. Start to destruct the pinata before the kids start whacking at it so it doesn't take so long.

Paul's Second Birthday Party: Pumpkin Hunt

The kids had fun hunting for pumpkins. Nini helped Paul find and carry his.

Paul's Second Birthday Party: Leaves

We were blessed with a beautiful day for Paul's birthday party. It was a little cold, but all the kids were bundled up. The kids had a great time playing in the leaves. They likes loading them up in the wagon or bike and hauling them around. Alivia and Aidan especially liked the leaves.

New Sit-N-Spin

Paul loves his new sit-n-spin, just like I did when I was little. I told him when I was little I went around and around and around till the cows came home. He thought that was hilarious.

Keeping Safe

I always tell Paul that kids must wear their helmets when they ride their bikes to stay safe. He was listening!

Second Birthday Pictures

Fina took Paul's second birthday pictures on Friday morning. This is the first one she sent out, I can't wait to see the rest!

Grandma and Grandpa's

We spent Saturday night at Grandma and Grandpa's while Shawn was playing with his band. They had lots of fun playing ball, playing with toys, playing with the kitties and working with Grandpa's tools on the tractor.

Singing Happy Birthday

Paul loves for me to light the candle, then he sings Happy Birthday, then he blows it out. Again and again!

Making Chocolate Fudge

Paul helped me do lots of cooking on Wednesday. We had to make a snack for MOPS (fruit) and made chocolate fudge. We also made Thanksgiving dinner earlier in the day.

We had tons of fun using our spatulas to lick out the fudge bowl. We sat on the floor eating it and giggling and giggling.

We had a very busy week this week. Monday night we went to pack shoeboxes with the MOPS moms. Then, Dina, Olivia, Paul and I went to Burger King so Paul could play while Dina and I talked. On Tuesday, Keli stopped by to visit on her way to buy her new car; she and Paul had lots of fun playing. Friday was a very busy day. We got Paul's 2 year pictures taken by Fina in the morning. I can't wait to see them! Then, after Paul's nap, we went and visited the Luskoski's. It was good to see that Mary Alice is healing as expected. Paul likes to see Tony's animals and his big toys (tractors, dump truck, golf cart, etc.) Then we went and visited Shawn's music instructor and his wife. Paul had fun playing with the guitars and a dancing frog band.

Visit to the South Franklin Fire Department

The South Franklin Fire Department had a community open house today. The kids got to climb in the fire trucks, check out a mini-ambulance that talked, watch the helicopter land and get in the helicopter. It was great free family fun!
