Accomplishments Despite Being Sick

Paul was very sick this weekend with a fever and had to miss out on Thanksgiving, Tug's birthday and church. He has been miserable! However, despite being so sick he has learned some new things.

Paul signed his first 2-word sentence, making the signs for "more" and "drink."

He will also now complete the sentence, "The lion says..." with a big "Roar!" This is from one of his favorite books.

We did get to spend time outside these last two beautiful days.

Styling

Thanks to Great-Grandma

Paul hung out with Great-Grandma while I went to get Christmas card pictures made. Thank you, great grandma for doing mountains of my laundry!

Making Chocolate Pie

Paul and I had a great time licking the beaters and spatulas when we made chocolate pie last week.

Paul's New Bike

Paul hasn't quite gotten the hang of his new bike from Grandma and Pappy, but he likes when Daddy pushes him on it. He loves the garden tools that came with it the best. He tries to scoop up everything with his little shovel.

Multi-Tasking

Paul likes to brush his teeth in the bathtub. In fact, he likes to brush his teeth anywhere! He is now obsessed with the toothbrush. He came up with his own sign for brushing his teeth.

Birthday Present from Grandpa

Grandpa brought out Paul's new birthday guitar. Paul liked it, and the box it came in. He's been carrying it around the house since.

Grandma Love

Grandma and Pappy came out Saturday to help daddy with the construction. Grandma had lots of love for Paul and Cana.

New Gloves

Thanks, Keli, for the new mittens and gloves to keep me warm! My mom didn't expect me to keep them on, but I did!

Making Lasagna

Paul and I had fun making lasagna together last week. He unloaded the cupboards while I cooked, then we had a picnic on the floor. Thank goodness we had Cana to clean up!

Thank You, Netcordia

Thank you, Netcordia folks, for the beautiful flowers!! My wound is healing up very well now, and it means a lot to know you have been thinking of me.

Paul and I send our gratitude and warm well wishes off to Maryland!

Helping in the Kitchen

Paul loves to climb in things and take everything out!

The first time I caught him in the dishwasher, I thought, "I'm a terrible mom!" This morning, when I caught him, I thought, "Oh, good. That will keep him busy till I get breakfast on the table!"

EBPC Fall Festival

Paul was the social butterfly at the Fall festival. My favorite is the picture of him flirting with Allie Hoover! He also enjoyed chatting with the Jasinski's.

Trick-Or-Treat

We learned a lesson on Paul's first birthday. Never have his party the same day as Trick-Or-Treat! He was tired and miserable. Nonetheless, we did get to put on his costume and take him to visit Aggie and Doris. He was a cute dinosaur. He didn't want to keep the hood on.

We Were So Happy to Have So Many Family and Friends
