Outside Fun

Boy was it great to get outside for a while today. Paul is able to entertain himself immensely better outside than inside. The best part was we didn't watch any tv at all today!

Visit with Grandma and Pappy

We all had a very nice visit with Grandma and Pappy. Paul and Grandma had an adventurous safari in Africa all day, complete with a tent to play in. He fell asleep in the car and fussed for just a little while when I put him to bed. He said, "I want Grandma...I want Grandma." Lucky for him, he's going to have an overnighter with Grandma and Pappy this week!

Joy was very pleased to discover corn on the cob.

Dentist Day

Getting Paul to wear a mask for laughing gas at the dentist was a fail. However, we did have a nice lunch at Max and Erma's instead.

We enjoyed a trip to the mall while Shawn was off for Martin Luther King Day.

The Smith Family

Bill, Katie and Emma Smith for the Steelers one playoff game this year. Emma in the Steelers cheer outfit handed down from Joy.

Bryce's 3rd Birthday Party

We all had a very nice time at Bryce's 3rd birthday party. Paul bounced his heart out in the bouncy house. Lauren outdid herself with the decorations: even homemade Toy Story cake pops and theme cookies. Paul liked playing Pin the Badge on Buzz and Woody. Joy wanted in the bouncy house so badly!!

New Bible Stories

I finally got around to getting access to the free Bible videos that came with Paul's new Bible, and they are very nice.

Visit with Kristie

It was great to catch up with Kristie on Thursday now that she is back in PA. Paul had a really fun time building giant towers of blocks with her and Joy played contentedly with her while I packed up the car.

Sawing

Paul thought Grandpa's massager made a fantastic saw. He played for a long time sawing up a bunch of pieces of wood he found.

It was warm enough to get outside for a while. Paul was excited to play lawn darts.

Visit with Jacinta and Jacob

On Tuesday we met Jacinta and Jacob at the Steubenville Public Library. They had a nice little area for the kids to play and they had tons of fun. Joy did have to put everything in her mouth.

Packing for the Trip

Shawn went down to Annapolis this week so we spent the week at Grandma and Grandpa's. Here is Joy helping pack!
