Grandma and Grandpa's 60th Birthday Vacation

What fun we had on our vacation to Green Valley.Exploring the fire site

First time in a hammock

Catching a fish with grandpa!

The paddle boat

Hanging out at grandma and grandpa's cottage

and on our porch

Throwing rocks in the water with Daddy

Riding bicycles

And how wonderful that Cindy and Anthony could join us Saturday night for the birthday party.

Make a wish!!!
We also got had an awesome hike with grandma and grandpa, we got caught in the rain, Paul had his first fun in the hot tub, we fed and watched birds and squirrels.  Paul did great with the traveling but we did learn that 1 night of vacation is enough for Joy.

Grandma Ely

Finally I get a great shot of this lovely lady who despises getting her picture taken, and of course Paul is pulling a "Grandma Ely," avoiding getting in the picture at all costs!

Nature Art

On "Dinosaur Train," one of Paul's favorite shows, the dinosaurs made "nature art."  Paul loved making nature art of his own.  I think we will do so frequently.

In My Boots

I finally found a pair of rubber boots to fit Joy.  She loved them and is determined to wear hers any time Paul or I wear ours.

Butter Cream Icing

I wasn't sure what kind of icing I wanted to make for the chocolate zucchini cake I planned to make for my parents' birthday's.  I loved the icing on Max's cupcakes, so Keli gave me her recipe.  Paul loved it!  And I think butter cream icing will be just the thing to get me going for the Turkey Trott this year.  It sure gave me a sugar rush!

Max's First Birthday Party

We had a fabulous time at Max Henderson's first birthday party.  It was so great to see Keli and her family, Gina, Ashlyn and Gina's parents, Brook, Rob, Reese and Brayden, Erica, Mark and Kate, and Becky, Dan and Carter.  It has been quite a long time since I got to see all these wonderful Bethany friends.

Washington County Fair Day 3

Grandpa joined us for Show Day.  We saw Chad and Allee show their goats and Dave and Amanda show their bull and cows.  We had lots of fun.  Paul go to discuss farm machinery with Grandpa and ride the trolley again.  Joy and I got to visit even more animals.

Washington County Fair Day 2

Lots of fun with Bryce and Charlotte.

We even got to watch a dog show.  Good thing, Paul was sure getting tired!

Popsicle Girl

Joy likes popsicles now...she is funny with her brain freezes.

Washington County Fair Day 1

The first day of the fair it was just Paul, Joy and I.  We had a good time looking at livestock, climbing on display furniture,  visiting Dave and Amanda's cows, riding antique tractors and eating ice cream.  Dave gave us a farm machinery lesson which Paul very much enjoyed.

Amanda had embroidered cow t-shirts made for the kids.  They were very cute and Joy in particular loves hers.
