Memorial Day Parade

The Luskoski's talked us into going to the Claysville Memorial Day Parade, and we're glad they did.  It was the kids' first parade, and it was lots of fun.  They were very, very good and enjoyed waving their flags and catching candy.

Just Like Baby-Anna

After visiting with Baby-Anna the day before, Joy wanted to have a bottle just like her!

Michael and Jackie's Reception

Michael and Jackie got married in Deep Creek in the snow in March.
They  held their reception at their barn on Saturday.  We had a fabulous time.

Septic Troubles

Although it was not much fun for Shawn, having the septic tank pumped was great excitement for the kids.  Joy is still playing "poop and pee" truck.

Baking Bread

Our best bread yet!  Paul is a great helper.

G.I. Joe Puzzle

Paul found this 200 piece puzzle of Shawn's ages ago.  I told him one day when Joy was sleeping we could put it together.  It took a lot of help from Daddy too!  Even though it was missing 14 pieces, they had fun!

Ladybug Party

Joy has been looking forward to her ladybug party for so long and finally the day arrived!  She was actually really cranky in the morning; for some reason it was overwhelming.  I had to wear her in the pouch for a while, and after all 3 grandma's arrived she started to do better.  I was singing, "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to," because she was crying on my back.Getting the food ready

I made Kraft mac and cheese and grown up mac and cheese with bacon from our piggy.  When I told Lauren it was from our pig, she wouldn't eat it!

Gina and Ashlyn

Arianna, Anthony and Grandma

Mac and cheese time!

Don't they look alike!

Grandma and Kaitlyn, deep in conversation

Making the ladybug craft

Grandma's help was key! I don't know what I would have done without her!

The search for the plastic ladybugs was on!  They were hidden very well!  We didn't find one until after the party.

Give me some of that cake!

She was very excited that the time finally came for singing Happy Birthday!

Olivia helped her blow out her candles.

Mac and Cheese, round 2

I tried to capture J.J. in the moment, but he was trying to get his costume off as I took the picture.  Super J.J. had a wand, cape and firefighter hat.
