My Dish Helper, Aliyah

Last Night of McGuffey Class, Treasure Business Card Treats

Little treats for the last night of class.

I was really sad when the class came to an end, I really enjoyed it.  We had 8, only 4 the last night (one mom did not want her photo taken).

Joy and Zane

Joy loves Zane Piatt, a little boy who went to Gwen's and is in first grade with her at McGuffey (although not in her class).  She brought home this picture from school of her and Zane holding hands.

Sunday at Seven Springs

Breakfast buffet
We could not stop laughing about the super fancy fire place in our luxury room, one small bare red light  bulb.

The snow machines had made one swath of snow, and it was quite warm Sunday morning.  It was really awesome to get to play in the snow.  We thought we might ski so had brought our stuff.  No skiing, but we put it to good use!

There was a family there from Georgia with some little boys, it was their first time in the snow.

Seven Springs

Arcade, the kids love it!

Paul won a woopie cushion and was LOVING it!

Getting too silly playing Uno.

Battle on the Mountain 2017

Nianchi Cho Dan

It's been so long I can't remember; I think Paul got 2nd in sparring to Max (it was a great fight between them), and I'm not sure what else.  Paul finished one of his sparring wins with an awesome back wheel kick.

Paul and Max, 1st and 2nd in sparring

Paul and Tim, Tim passed me up height wise about a year and a half ago, maybe.

First in breaking.  I did hammerfist then 360 jump  back kick, all went well.  As usual, the other ladies tried crazy hard things with multiple boards and no one else flowed nicely like I did.
I only had one round of sparring with the lady near my size I've sparred before.  It was a good  match, I think I got a lot of uncalled points, but she won.  I was disappointed to only go once, but not that disappointed to not have to fight some very  big ladies.  My goals were to do something I could be proud of and not to get hurt.  I was pleased with my first place in breaking.
That's it, I'm done with tournaments!!  I saw the ladies in the black belt women's division and they are massive.  I'm not waiting around all day and then some for that.  And I mean it, future self!!

Celebrating Paul's Birthday with Grandma and Pappy

Paul's 9th Birthday Party

Paul had a blast at his Nerf Battle party.  Roger stayed with us afterward.  The Nerf Battle Arena sadly closed not long after his party.
