We have been praying for another dog for over a year now. We were looking for a young dog but not a puppy who would make a good farm dog and running partner. My high school friend Brandi shared a post of a friend of hers who was trying to find a home for her dog. We corresponded and felt that we might be a good fit for each other.
Despite the stormy weather, Cana and Sammy hit it off fairly quickly. They ran around inside and outside and seemed to tolerate each other just fine. Sammy's loving parents gave us all of Sammy's background info and and seemed to feel confident that we could give Sammy a loving forever home. We promised them lots of updates and pictures.
Sammy was sad when they left, but she enjoyed a walk through the hay field and around the perimeter of the yard.
Sammy was quite uneasy for a while, wandering about, not sure what to do with herself. But, she finally found a spot on the couch next to Cana and has stopped pacing about the house. She is a beautiful, sweet dog and I hope she will be happy here!.jpg)
