Belated Father's Day Celebration with Grandpa at Brooke Hills

 It was a beautiful day for fishing and playing at Brooke Hills today.

Paul got a fish!

There is a paintball course behind the lake and Joy and I had fun exploring it.

And Joy caught her very first fish!

The fish were really biting, the kids caught 7 total! 

At Oglebay, no one would boat with me.  I talked Joy into it today, but she only wanted to for about 10 minutes.  It was really hot, but I love pedal boating!!

We had to check out the improved playground.

 The pool was not too crowded and we all had so much  fun.   Joy realized she could go in the "big kids" pool and that Froggy would keep her afloat.  She loved it and was swimming all over.  Both kids had fun jumping off of Grandmpa and Paul and Grandpa played lots of splashing games.

It was a beautiful day and we had a blast.  And, what a bargain.  I brought a picnic, so the entire day I spent $15!  And that included 3 popsicles, 2 bottles of water and 2 bags of chips.  You can't beat that!
