We traveled to Anne's wedding today. It was about 4.5 hours round trip. I was very concerned about how Joy would do and packed everything under the sun to entertain her. She actually did very well. We had a lovely time with Grandma Cowan and Grandma Ely and it was nice to see everyone. We got to meet Gary and his family as well as Pokie's in-laws.
Things I learned about traveling with Joy: When she is sleeping we can't stop; she wakes up. We will have to figure out how to keep things relatively quiet in the car while she is sleeping. Also, I have to bring a ton of stuff, we'll need a lot of space (borrow mom's van!)
