Green Belt with a Stripe Test

It was our last karate test with the Woods, who will be moving back to FL this weekend.  Fortunately, Paul and Cian and Saroise were standing next to each other for their test so I was able to get pictures of them together.

Paul was the only Speer to break his board on the first try.  We are so proud of him.

Girls green belt club...last edition; Marion will be moving and Barb earned her red belt.

 I asked Master Billig's girlfriend to take pictures of us and I'm so glad I did.  She did a really awesome job and I will especially treasure them as she got so many of the three of us together.

 One Step Sparring with Barb.  It was extremely short, I guess in interest of getting the test over with.  We only did 2 of the 4.

Our jump front kicks.  We had the absolute worst boards; a lot of the kids did not break theirs.  They had cured in a stack since March.  It took Shawn 2 tries and me 5!  I couldn't believe it because I didn't feel like I was making any mistakes.  Boy was I glad when it broke and boy was I glad I didn't break my toes!
