Basil Harvest

I harvest all 5 basil plants at one time because we had gotten frost a couple nights before and I was all freaked out.  I picked leaves for 8.5 hours straight!!!!!!!  I definitely bit off way more than I could chew that day.  But, chew it I did.  And we have 89 basil ice cubes to make it through the winter.  I think that should be plenty!  Thank goodness Grandma Speer was here to care for the kids.
