Knocking Down Cornstalks

Because of the unseasonably warm weather, we actually got around to tilling the garden this fall.  The kids were knocking down corn stalks in preparation.  They quickly got distracted from their task by picking up old rotted ears of corn.  They were pretending they were Indians collecting maize.  Indians were the theme at school for November.  That is a benefit of having them both at the same school; they have the same theme and then play it at home.
