I had the brilliant idea of taking the kids from Mommy and Me to the Outlets to find Paul an outfit for Dave's wedding. I packed them a picnic to eat in the stroller so they could eat while I shopped. It didn't even work for the first store. Joy grabbed things off the shelf and then got out of the stroller all together, even though I tried to strap her back in.
In the time it took me to find an outfit Paul liked in the correct size, she had at least 30 shirts and pants off the rack and piled all over the floor. Ladies looked at me in disgust as I tried to keep her under control and hang them back up.
Then I went into Izod to try to find a couple shirts. She screamed her head off while I held her in the crook of my arm and shopped. Then I had to find Paul a new pair of shoes. I had to hold her between my legs as I sat Indian style and tried to try shoes on Paul. Of course she screamed all through that too. Then, since I had told Paul he could play on the climbing toys, and he was really good, I held her in time out while she screamed and he played. Not fun. Not fun at all. At least we got most of what we went there for!
