Hershey Day 1

The first day at Hershey was a little crazy.  We explored while Daddy was checking in.  We were told it would be a half hour wait just to check in.  The kids and i went to explore the hotel while we waited.  We found the "Activity Room."  Paul played legos with a little boy while Joy and I played Monopoly Junior.  

We went to Troegs Brewery for dinner.  It was delicious and educational.  

Then it started pouring.  We thought Hershey's Chocolate World would be a good place to go in the rain.  So did about a million other people!  It was awful.  We got out of there as fast as we could.  

We got back to the hotel to go to the indoor pool.  It was closed too!  We had to get creative and play some Uno for a while, but it opened back up and the kids had fun.  It was COLD so I didn't swim for too long!!

Phish

We saw Phish at the Peterson Event Center.  Shawn observed that our hotel had a kitchenette, so we decided to eat in rather than out.  We had awesome fish tacos and steak and were glad we ate in our room.  

The concert was very nice.  Our seats were on a really steep slope and I was glad when we were able to move down by Jen and Arron, where it was not nearly so steep.  My favorite song was Divided Sky.
