The Amazing Spiderwoman
Joy was convinced that wearing Paul's costume would bestow on her the ability to climb walls, and she spend a significant amount of time trying!
A Walk in the Field
When we bought it at JC Penney, Joy was so terribly behaved!!! She took all kinds of stuff off the racks and acted like a wild child. When we were in line to check out, she took off running clear across the store. At least Paul stayed with me and helped me track her down. I'm going to have to keep that girl in the pouch!
Prayer Journal
I have decided that I am going to included a prayer journal component to this blog. Paul was learning about the Israelites and and their golden calf in Sunday school. We were discussing how crazy it was that they would so quickly turn to an idol after they had just seen God bring about all the plagues, part the Red Sea and defeat Pharaoh. I said it is sometimes easy to forget all the good things God does for us. So to help us remember as a family the great things God does for us, I'm going to try to record them.
First, Paul's awesomely quick recovery from surgery is an answer to prayers. He was a champion throughout that day and has had no tooth pain and no complications.

Transformer
Paul chose to spend his stickers on a Transformer. He was very excited and wanted me to send this picture to show Tugs. I, on the other hand, learned that I am not cut out to transform Transformers. Also, they are cheap and crappy toys. It keeps falling apart and is really difficult to put back together. However will I dissuade him from wanting them in the future?
First Snow
The kids were super excited about the first snow. Paul was very sad that he had to go to school and couldn't go straight out and play in it. Joy and I went out as soon as we got home from dropping him off. We played a couple more times after Paul got home too. It is not fun to have to bundle them up now to go outside, but is is much easier now that Paul can do many of the tasks himself.
