Denny's Pigs

Farmer Denny's pigs are always out running around in the pasture.  They are really cute, so I thought I'd take a picture.  I'm glad our pigs aren't this cute!

Christmas Eve Presents

Paul and Joy exchanged their gifts to each other on Christmas Eve.  Paul got Joy a singing Minnie and Joy got Paul an erupting volcano.  They both liked their presents.  Once again, we went to Muse church for Christmas eve service since the service at East Buffalo was too late in the evening.  It was still a challenge to make it through the earlier muse service, but it was very nice and Paul especially enjoyed the candle lit singing.

Making Pumpkin Pies

Since no store bought pumpkin pies are as good as Grandma's, we asked her to come supervise us making them using her recipe.  They were yummy!!!

Paul's Performances at Church

Paul did a great job playing the bells.  Joy decided to join them!  Paul also did a very wonderful job of singing Joy to the World and We Wish You a Merry Christmas solos.  Camille took a video of him singing, but I don't have any pictures.

Snow!

We all enjoyed the first snow very much!  I quickly realized, though, that playing in the snow required a team effort from Shawn and I.  Paul wanted to sled, sled, sled, and needed supervision, and Joy wanted to run off in all directions.  Joy wanted to run down the hill where the septic runoff is.  I told her she couldn't because the pee and poop was down there.  She looked over the hill intently and said, "Pee, poop, where?  I find it!"

Paul's School Party

Paul showed his classmates the straw we were growing for Baby Jesus for family tradition show-and-tell at his school party and brunch.

The kids also sang their songs for us, Joy to the World and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.    Joy had fun playing with all the toys, as always.

Happy Birthday to Daddy!

We had a lovely lunch and cupcakes to celebrate Daddy's birthday.  Thanks to Camille, we enjoyed a nice dinner out at Angelo's in the evening.
