New Book from Grandma and Pappy

Paul had fun playing with his new Etch a Sketch book from Grandma and Pappy. I did have to teach him that he could only use the special pencil and had a whole lot of erasing to after he used a regular pencil!

Visit with Grandma and Pappy

Paul had a great time playing with Grandma and Pappy yesterday. he had fun putting coins in Pappy's lighthouse, playing in the water with grandma, eating peanut butter cups and visiting the fish pond. He can't wait till it gets nice outside and he can do some jobs with Pappy.

Get Together at Keli's

We had a really great time at Keli's on Saturday. It was wonderful to see Erica and her beautiful baby Kate. It was great to catch up with everyone. Paul had tons of fun playing with Reese and watching Nemo with her in the car.

Working on Baby Joy's Room

Daddy was working on the tedious job of pulling staples out of the ceiling. Paul kept him company with his tools for a while.

Finally Getting Back to Normal

We are so happy that things are finally getting back to normal around here! Paul has had several fairly pleasant days. I guess it takes some serious regression to make you appreciate your child! Paul has even been having lots of fun helping me with various projects, including lots of cleaning, on my getting-ready-for-baby-Joy list.

He also had lots of fun making a smoothie with Daddy today!

Enjoying a Warmer Day

It was warmer yesterday, in the low 50's, so we enjoyed some time outside. Paul and Cana inspected the mole madness of our yard, Paul played some horseshoes and ball with Cana, and we worked hard in the garden for a while. I hope he loves working that hard in the garden all year!

The last few days, the whining has subsided some thank goodness. Then today was pretty bad so far. It is really rainy and dreary, so maybe the weather is just getting to him too. We had a scare yesterday. Before naptime he spun on the sit n spin for about 15 minutes. When he got up, he threw up big time. I hoped it was just due to spinning and not being sick again. Thankfully, that appears to be the case. Now sit n spin time will be have to have a limit!

Pitt Basketball Game

Shawn and I had a great time at the Pitt basketball game. They won against Villanova to become the Big East Champs. We also had a nice dinner at Panera beforehand. Much thanks to Keli and Clay for watching Paul!
