Gideon is Now in our Freezer

84 packages of ground beef fill our small freezer.

And we had to get a new one for the rest.

Trick or Treat

Everyone had a really great time Trick or Treating together.
Joy got pretty tired from the walking.  I think she rode on Shawn's shoulders for about 45 min.  She was pretending to sleep up there.

The traditional candy swap.

Paul's Birthday

On Paul's birthday, I dropped Joy off at Judy's before I picked him up from school.  He came home and we played the Ungame for a while then we went to the Olive Garden, just the 3 of us.  We had been there a few weeks ago and the staff sang to someone for their birthday.  He thought that was awesome and wanted them to sing to him for his birthday.  He was very excited.

Making Cheese

After we visited the SpringHouse, we brought home milk and made cheese.

For dinner, the kids had cheese and crackers and berries.  Shawn and I had yummy grilled cheese.

Snuggling With Grandma Ely

The kids snuggled and watched a movie  with Grandma Ely while I did laundry.  Paul's not going to fit on her lap much longer!

SpringHouse

The kids had a ball playing at the SpringHouse last week.

Paul was there when he was three, and he couldn't climb the big bales of hay himself.  Now he was helping other little kids and Joy needed help.

I threatened, cajoled and bribed, but I could not get one great picture of both of them.

Clothes from Aunt Aimee

The kids had a ball going through the clothes Aunt Aimee handed down to Paul.Joy thought she looked quite handsome in her tie.

Swimming in the sea of clothes.

Joy surfing in the swimming trunks.
