Block Tower

I was trying to keep the kids busy the morning before the Speer picnic while I cleaned, so I had them build blocks.  I got a picture of what Paul made just minutes before Joy destroyed it, as I knew she'd do.

More First and Second Days of School

I'm not sure why I took these pictures of them having grapes after their first day of school.  One of them must have asked me to take a picture.  So, I don't know why Paul has such a mean face.

Shopping/Visit with Grandma and Grandma.

We went school shopping and then had lunch with Grandma Ely and Grandma Cowan before school started.  We enjoyed corn on the cob and BLTs from the garden.

Paul helped Grandma sew our patches onto our karate uniforms.  Joy is obsessed with that little blue and white dress.  It is to small and I want to give it to Arianna.  She has been wearing it non-stop.  Everything I want to give to Arianna is suddenly her most prized possession.

Joy in Headphones

I've been wearing headphones a lot, listening to my whispersync.  Joy wanted to wear them too.

Family Game Night

quite out of order.  This was our family game night while Shawn was off.  We played Candy Land and Uno.  It's very nice that Joy can play these games now, with lots of help.
