Dough Fail

Paul has been wanting Pigs in a Blanket so I thought I'd make some with my whole grain buttermilk dough.  I rolled it out really thin.  It ended up tasting like not that great hot dogs rolled in paper.  Fail!

Pear Tart

I made this Pear Tart out of my Artisan Bread in 5 cookbook book with my brioche dough.  It was very good.  We had it for dinner...no dinner, just dessert.  Then we took some to Grandma Ely.  The brioche dough is so good!  I can't stop eating it.

Gift from Uncle David

Our Harry and David surprise came in the mail from Uncle David today.  The kids loved opening up all the boxes to find the treats inside.  They are enjoying nuts and snack mix now for their bedtime snack.  Their favorite part, of course, was playing with all the boxes.  

This was Joy's box "skirt;" she was a princess.
