Peas are Planted

If I get nothing else accomplished in the garden this summer, at least we'll have peas! (And perennial herbs.) Paul was a great help!

Making Cards

Paul worked very hard and had a ton of fun making cards for Tugs (to thank him for the race track) and Aunt Mary (a get well card). He especially loves to use his scissors!

Blueberries!

While I like my waffles buttered and piled with blueberry sauce, Paul likes it all separate. A bowl of waffle strips, a bowl of butter to dip them in, and a bowl of blueberries to eat. Its a messy but delicious meal!

Helping Daddy in Joy's Room

Paul was THRILLED to help Shawn in Baby Joy's room last night, especially when it involved climbing up the tall ladder and banging away inside the above-the-closet shelf!

I heard a commotion and walked in to find Paul playing the bongos with his drumsticks with quite an intensity!

Enjoying the Sunshine

The weather forecast said it was going to be a stormy, crazy-weather week, so when it was beautiful early Sunday morning, I thought we better get out and enjoy it. We took a very nice long walk up by the highway, down past the "marsh" and to the creek. Paul had tons of fun throwing leaves and other things into the creek as usual.

Daddy Arrives Home

We were so happy when Shawn arrived home safely from his latest trip to Annapolis last Thursday. To cheer Paul up about his dad being away, I told him we'd have a party for him when he got home. We made him a chocolate cake and sang Happy Birthday and blew out candles.
