Paul's First Birthday

Paul had a great time at his party. We were so happy to see everyone and to have so many people be a part of his special day. My favorite part was when everyone sang happy birthday. He seemed to think it was really cool that everyone was singing to him. He had a great time tearing into his cake and presents.

Paul's New Toys

Paul really liked the new toys you bought him, Grandma, but he also had lots of fun with the container too!

Having Fun on Daddy's Vacation

Paul has been having lots of fun with Daddy while he is on vacation this week. We did lots of yard work and Paul had a great time running around the yard.

He is still obsessed with talking on the telephone, and also with walking around with his staff (a piece of floor trim). We call him Moses.

We went shopping down at the Highlands. Paul got his first pair of shoes that weren't hand-me-downs. He was a wild man in Target. Mommy had to carry him out screaming. He wanted to take everything off every shelf.

Guitar Lesson

Paul is now obsessed with Daddy's guitars. He wants to get into the office to play them. This afternoon he got to play guitar in the kitchen for a while.

Visit with Michelle

It was so nice to visit with Michelle on Thursday. It was great to catch up and to meet Ralph. Paul had lots of fun with the pumpkin snow globe!

Fun with My New Toy

I'm having fun with my new walking toy. I don't quite have the hang of it yet.

Bundling Up

I usually love this time of year because it is great running weather, but it's getting a little cold to take Paul outside. I need to go shopping and get him so good cold weather outdoor gear. For now, he has to wear my socks over his hands.

He sure is super cute all bundled up!
