Sick Kids
We are trying so hard to get healthy in this house! After about a month of snotty noses, now the kids have a mysterious illness. Paul had a fever earlier in the week, and has been lethargic the last few days. Joy threw up for no reason this morning. I hope this weather improves and they get healthier really soon!! I am very thankful that Shawn and I have remained healthy!
Sleeping Under the Bed
On Monday, Grandma watched Joy while I went to the dentist. This was what I found when I returned!! Since Shawn was home working and watching Paul, who was sick, I had to drag her out by her feet and put her right in the car. Poor sleepy little girl!
Easter Egg Hunt #2
I got all the Easter Eggs hidden in the Sunday School rooms. (The weather was cold and the upstairs was set up for the Lenten gathering that evening). The kids had fun!
Singing in Church
What a busy day! We skipped Sunday School so that Paul could sing at Bethel Church. He really danced it up with his friend Duncan. I'm glad we have it on video. We had to leave right after he sang, then it was on to EBPC, we made it just in time!
Burn Pile
We were glad to finally get to burn our burn pile. However, as soon as we got it going, the wind really picked up. We didn't get to burn everything, but at least we got all the boxes burnt and things remained under control. These two love helping!
Bethel Church Easter Egg Hunt
We went to the Bethel Church Easter Egg Hunt, where Paul goes to school, last Saturday. It was WAY too much sugar! Candy filled eggs and a super sugary snack. I really appreciate the thought and preparation, but who thinks this is a good idea for kids? They should have to watch my crazy kids for the rest of the day.

MOPs
Joy, Paul, Olivia and Emerson having a snack after MOPs. Joy screamed and cried most of the time. Good thing it was our cooking class. I ended up wearing her in the pouch while I cooked and then she was happy.

Mini-Vacation
Our mini-vacation was so much fun! The best part was it was only 20 minutes away. First, we checked into our hotel, Cambria Suites in the Meadowlands. Joy loved the beds and all the pillows.
Then we went bowling at the casino. Paul loves bowling and dancing around on the slippery floor. Joy liked climbing all over anything and everything.
Then, we went back to the hotel to order room service. Paul and joy enjoyed chocolate milks at the bar. The staff people were very kind to the kids.
Then it was time for feasting! The food was fabulous. Our favorites were the pretzel lollipops with fondue dip.
Then it was pool time. Both kids had a blast. They kept going back and forth from the pool to the hot tub. The loved climbing on the steps and swimming with daddy.
Paul liked standing on the sink to brush his teeth.
In the morning we went had breakfast in the restaurant and then swam again before we came home. Both kids were awfully tired after the festivities. Joy took a 2 hour nap! Then Camille came and watched the kids while Shawn and I took a hike on this blustery day.
