Making Brownies

Joy and I made brownies while Paul was at school Wednesday.  We made a big meal for the preacher at MOP's family of 7.  It was a lot of work!  The mac and cheese with bacon, fruit salad and brownies were yummy, though, and we made enough for us too!

Hike

It was a beautiful day on Monday!  Even though it was only 40 degrees, we had to get out for a hike.  Paul decided he wanted to ride in the pouch just like Joy.  Shawn was sure hurting the next day!

Elle and Eve's 4th Birthday Party

Elle and Eve's 4th birthday party was definitely fit for a magazine.  It truly was Candyland!  I've never seen anything like it except for on TV or in a magazine.  The kids had a lot of fun, although they were a little overwhelmed at first.

Joy kicked Paul in the eye and he started crying. "What will help me?" he asked. "Oh, I know, carrots," he said. (I'm always telling him carrots are good for his eyes). A few baby carrots and he was as good as new.

Valentine's Day

We had a very fun Valentine's Day.  We shopped at Target (and got Paul the R2D2 shoes pictured here on Joy's feet) and delivered Valentines to Grandma Ely and her neighbors in the afternoon.  We had an awesome dinner and fun playing Kinect afterward.

Niece Time

We were so glad to have the chance to visit with Grandma, Grandpa, Nini and Arianna on Tuesday night.  Joy calls her "Baby-anna."  Joy had fun putting stickers all over her. I had fun holding her!

Aunt Aimee's

We were so excited to visit with Aunt Aimee, Kaitlyn and Tugs on Tuesday.  Kaitlyn took great care of Joy and they had a lot of fun.  Tugs taught Paul to play his new game.

Dave drove all the way up here Saturday night just to ask Shawn to be in his wedding.  He and Paul had tons of fun bonding over Star Wars!
