Visit with Keli and Max

We were very happy to visit with Keli and Max today. Also, while they were here, Paul made "the biggest Lego tower ever!"

Chris the Babysitter

I sure appreciated Chris entertaining Paul Thursday morning while I got some things accomplished.

Swing

Joy is finally big enough for this swing...now I need 2 of them!

Kicking Toy

Joy has sure been having fun with this kicking toy!

Visit with Kate, Brian and Liam

Paul had fun playing with Brian, as usual. It was great to see Liam walking for the first time!

Little Lamb

Joy was sporting her little lamb onsie that Anne and Aunt Dorthy got her. I hope I get around to sending them the picture.

Fire Station Open House

We went to the SF Fire Station open house for the second year in the row. This year Paul was still somewhat interested in the fire trucks but more interested in jumping in the bouncy house with Cousin Brian.

New Steelers Gear

Joy showed off her new Steelers gear at church today: new leggings from Julie and a new bow made by Abby from MOPS.

Fondue Night

We all enjoyed our delicious fondue night. Joy enjoyed petting Cana while she cleaned up.

Silly Pool

To keep Paul occupied during bad weather we made a "silly pool" like at gym class. We filled his pool with rice and put it in Joy's room. I expected him to love it, which he does so far, but I was surprised how much Joy is enjoying it too! What I really did not expect was that Cana would eat it! Now we have to keep the door closed at all times.

Joy in the Dirt

Joy escaped from her blanket on the grass again today. She had a blast playing in the dirt. I tried to capture how filthy she was in the picture but it did not do it justice. I think she will like to play in the dirt just as much as her brother!

Grandma's Retirement

Playing in the Creek

It was possibly the last day warm enough to play in the creek. Joy kept scooting off the blanket, grabbing the grass and trying to eat it.

Morning Fun

It is something how Paul loves his old toys. He even has been jumping in the Jumperoo. Lets hope it holds his weight!

Morning Chart

I bought this preschool morning chart so we can work on calendar skills and such over the winter. Joy enjoyed chewing on the cardboard that the cards came in.

4 Months

Joy had her 4 month appointment this week. She is 12 lbs 6 oz and 23 in; 25th percentile in weight and 10th in length.

She has been super crabby this week. I don't know if it's related to the shots or not.

She loves to chew on fruit!!

We were ready for the game. Too bad the Steelers were not.

Tractor Pull 2

We went to the tractor pull at West Alexander fair today. Paul loved it again. We had to have our own tractor pull with Paul's tractors when we got home.

Peas!

In honor of Joy's 4 month birthday today, I decided to try feeding her some peas. As Paul never liked baby cereal, I thought maybe peas would be fun. I don't know if she actually consumed any, but she sure had fun! She loved grabbing the spoon and waving it around. I think she will enjoy being able to eat with us, even if she just plays.
