We had lots of fun at Tom Queen's 64th birthday party. Paul had tons of fun running around and playing with all the girls and watching the chickens. Shawn was glad to get to play his guitar.

Tummy Time?
Paul never really liked tummy time as a baby, but wanted to re-try it out when we got it out for Joy!
Visit with Nini
After I was unsuccessful the day before, Aunt Cindy was the first to have success giving Joy a bottle.
Paul still likes to cuddle after his nap.
Visit with Lauren, Bryce and Charlotte
We had a very nice visit with Lauren and the kids, and boy did we get some great pics! Charlotte is 6 months old. Paul really wanted to snuggle with her on the couch. The boys had tons of fun following Cana around outside. Bryce calls her Ca-nut!

MOPS
Here is Paul singing with the kids for the moms at MOPS. He did great singing and doing the motions! He has come such a long way at MOPS, from crying every time to really loving it since being moved up to the big boy's (3 year old) class, where they play with cars!
Graduation from Gym Class
Paul and I attended Playful Parenting with Miss Rhonda at Gym Dandy's in the Meadowlands all of last spring and this entire year. Paul has come a long way, from crying and clinging me to becoming a wild man. He has made a lot of progress with both social and gross motor skills. He was very proud to stand up on the podium and receive his certificate. He had tons of fun playing in the water with the kids. I'm glad Joy and I got to come along.
New Bagger
Paul enjoyed helping Daddy construct the new bagger for the tractor while Joy enjoyed some time outside.

Hike and visit with Grandma and Pappy
Paul, Joy, Cana and I had a grand adventure yesterday...we bit off a little more adventure than we could chew. We (with Joy in her pouch) walked down into the field and the tall, soaking wet grass was bigger than Paul. He assured me that he wanted to walk through it and we walked all along the creek. When it was time to come back, he was exhausted and threw several fits. However, I couldn't carry him and he had to be brave. He made it back, but really wore himself out. We did see some beautiful trees in bloom along the way.
We also had a good visit with Grandma and Pappy. They helped Paul work with Daddy and Uncle Kevin and Grandma got to enjoy lots of Joy's awake time.

Baby Joy is Born
Baby Joy was born on Monday at 5:39 pm after a long, long day. She was 7 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches long. She had a ton of hair!
So far she has been doing great! Eating great, sleeping great, overall doing very well and being a very enjoyable baby.
Paul is doing well as a big brother too. He really likes to hold her hand and always wants to know what she is saying. He has had lots of fun with grandma, grandpa and daddy. He does get impatient when his plans are delayed due to her, but at least the fits haven't been too bad.
We had a nice visit with Keli, and appreciated Great-grandma coming yesterday to hold Joy and watch Paul while we took her to the doctor's.
There's also a great picture of Paul in there with his backhoe. He is getting quite skilled with it.
