Fun in the Barn

Paul loves seeing the barn door open because there is so much fun to be had inside. He can ride Dada's tractor or play in the wagon. He hears baby birds chirping and sees Cana smelling every nook and cranny. Throwing hay is always fun, although it makes us sneeze.

Vacation

We had so, so much fun on vacation. Paul really enjoyed the pond. We saw ducks, geese, fish, gnats and iguanas (newts). There was a fake heron beside the pond that Paul loved to touch. He wanted to sit on it.

Dada went fishing and caught a bluegill. Paul wasn't that impressed.

We had lots of fun on the paddle boat, and Paul fell asleep. Too bad we don't have one of those at home.

Paul liked playing with the cd player by the bed; it was just like grandmas.

Paul enjoyed helping dada build a fire and sitting by the fire. He thought Farmer George started the fire, no matter what we might say. ( Farmer George is always starting a fire.)

Cana LOVED the couch, especially laying by the fire. She had so much fun chasing the fat grey squirrel.

In the shed, there were 2 tractors. One was broken and needed a new clutch (as Gary the owner told us). Paul is still talking about how the tractor needed a new clutch.

Fishing Lesson with Farmer George

Farmer George let us borrow his fishing pole for vacation and taught us how to use it. Paul enjoyed reeling it in.

In the Field with Cana

Last week, Cana and Paul were playing in the tall grass.

Michelle's Baby Shower

Yesterday was Michelle Murray's shower. It was so great to see her and catch up. All the way home, Paul talked about the "crazy" girls and that one girl told him "no, no, no!"

Keli's Birthday Party

Keli had a wonderful birthday party at Drovers. Paul and Reese had lots of fun running around outside. Paul learned the birthday song for Keli. He fills in the "to you" part.

Paul was having fun playing in the lilac bushes. I was just glad those bushes survived the snow.

Easter Church

What a beautiful Easter morning.

Paul enjoyed his bucket of tractors on Easter morning. He is only bummed that he can't ride them, he keeps trying to ride on the big one.

Easter Eve

Lots of things were accomplished today. Paul peed on the potty for the first time!!! I often set him on the potty chair before bath time and usually he doesn't do anything. Today I looked in the potty and he had peed in it. What a big boy!

On the other hand, he also learned to pick his nose today.

Paul likes to try to ride around on his little Mickey truck.

He also likes to sit in my pot and pretend to cook.
