Visit with Grandma and Pap
We all had a great visit with Grandma, Pap, and all of the aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul had a lot of fun playing with Laci with all Grandma's toys. It was wonderful to see Laci looking so healthy.

Development Update
Paul is crawling like crazy now. He uses one foot to push off and scoots on the other knee. He is pulling himself up and tries to climb up on anything.
Paul is able to entertain himself for longer periods now and likes playing with the toys in his pack n play.
Paul likes to make all sorts of sounds, particularly k (which he seems to direct at Cana), g, d, and b.
Everything goes into his mouth! Papers, books, the remote, the telephone.
He reaches up for me now, and reaches out to his dad to be held.

Visit with Alivia and Kim
Busy Sunday
Sunday was so busy. We had church, then Grandma and Pap Speer came over and helped Daddy put in the dining room floor, then Keli and Clay came to visit Paul and help mommy with Bible School stuff, then Cindy and Jay came!
The rest of the week was very busy too. Visiting with great-grandma Tuesday night, staying with her Wednesday while mommy when shopping, going to the IU to see all the psychologists and have a picnic with Julie then going to the Farmer's Market on Thursday. Today we are visiting with Alivia Andria this afternoon. What a schedule!

Dr.'s Appointment
This is Paul in his new pouch. It calms him down at night when he gets crabby.
Paul had his 6 month Dr.s appointment today, even though he is 7 months old. He is healthy! He does have to get a special cream for his drool rash and some flouride supplements. He was 17 lbs 10 oz and 27.5 inches long. His weight was at the 25th percentile, height at the 50th and head circumference at the 75th percentile!
Paul can start eating meat and dairy now, although I need to see if I can eat dairy first before I start giving it to him, though. I made turkey and potatoes for him and I'll try to feed it to him when he wakes up. He is sleeping from the tylenol I gave him for his shots. He didn't do nearly as bad with his shots today. He cried when he got them, but he recovered quickly. He did really well with the nurses and doctor and had lots of smiles.
Paul can have finger foods now, such as cereal or noodles. I think he will have fun with those.
Paul can sit up unassisted until something distracts him, then he topples over. He can get up on all fours and rocks back and forth, then usually does a face plant. He can really cover ground quickly, though.
