Today Paul and I visited Michelle P. Paul slept the whole entire time, almost 4 hours! He needed the nap. And I enjoyed some adult-conversation time.
Shawn worked on cleaning a lot of stuff out of the upstairs so they have more room to work on finishing the drywall.

Other Notable Events of the Week
On Wednesday, Paul and I went to the Ash Wednesday service at church. He did very well the whole time and really enjoyed the music. He giggled at his friend Camille, who was very excited about that.
On Thursday, Paul went to great-grandmas while I had a doctor's appointment. Then we went to visit the folks at Trinity West. We had a very nice time and everyone was glad to see Paul.

Aunt Cathy and Sue, Family Chefs
Aunt Cathy and Sue made a fantastic chicken cacciatore for us with polenta (and rice of course for me). We had a delicous salad for starters, and then enjoyed our meal with 2 great red wines. Then Aunt Cathy and Sue had an outdoor tour with Shawn while Aunt Margie and Aunt Mary enjoyed more indoor time with me and Paul. I am very thankful for such a nice afternoon with my family.

Mommy and Daddy's day off
Grandma watched Paul on January 10 so we could have a night to ourselves. We took Cana for a walk, took a nap, had a nice steak, potato and onion dinner, played cards and watched 'Meet the Fockers'.

Earlier This Week
Rice Cereal
Today Paul tried rice cereal for the first time. I mixed it up with some milk in a bowl. It didn't work out to well. Much more came out then went in. He pushed most of it out along with a ton of drool. Will try again.
Superbowl
Postgame, he put on his 2nd pair of Steelers Jammies. We all went up and stood by the road sign to wave the terrible towels and encourage the passing motorists. Some Indian folk stopped thinking we were in trouble.
We were very tired but it was hard to sleep because we were so excited about the Steelers win.
